Little Gaddesden is blessed with such a diversity of footpaths, bridle ways and other rights of way that it could take a month to walk them all. The Rural Heritage Society hosts several walks each year, to tread the paths and thus keep them open and accessible and to investigate areas that may not be known to the casual walker. Everyone is welcome to join us whether you are a member of not. The walks are never too demanding. They are informative, educational and great fun. Watch the notice boards and this web site for advance warning of the next walk.
To help you get the most out of your rambles through the Little Gaddesden footpath network we have published a helpful footpath map, published under licence from Ordnance Survey, which includes permissive footpaths, permissive bridleways and permitted horsetracks (National trust permits required) as well as public footpaths, bridleways and similar based on the Definitive Maps maintained by the Herts, Beds and Bucks County Councils. This footpath map is free to members of the Society.
